The project road for widening and up-grading of the National Highway is a section of NH-7 and forms a part of North-South corridor of National Highway Development Plan extending from Andhra Pradesh / Karnataka border to Avathi Village in Bangalore Rural district i.e. from Km 463/600 to Km 524/000 in Karnataka State. The project road passes through the Kolar district and Bangalore Rural district of Karnataka state
