The project involved constructing a new RCC containment dam nine miles inside the active open pit copper mine. The RCC batch plant was located approximately 1'/ miles from the dam, with RCC hauled in 35 ton (32 t) rock trucks to the dam site. Other features of the project include riprap placement, backfill, and general site work
